For example, 1 friend is curvy, and the other is model thin. The model thin one is constantly talked about and complemented or admired. The curvy 1 all of a sudden drops a bunch of weight. Coincidence? Can there be any corelation? Can having a thin complemented friend trigger an eating disoreder and extreme weight loss in a heavier friend. Basically… I would say there's definitely a connection. I've seen it happen to a bunch of my friends. One in particular lost a lot of weight (dramatic), and it inspired another one to follow in her footsteps, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It all depends on if they're being healthy about it. Like sudden, dramatic weight loss is pretty scary and makes me nervous. But definitely, having a thin friend that you see always get complemented etc. Will make you question your own body, sometimes whether you realize it or not. That's also true of friends who get fit. When I decided to get serious about working out, a friend of mine decided to do the same, but at her own pace. I think that a thin friend triggering an eating disorder is kind of an extreme case, but definitely not impossible.

I'm looking for an AFFORDABLE fitness club that has a lot of choices of exercise equip, maybe some yoga classes and a nice open window of hours. Which club do you recommend? Bally's? LA Fitness? 24 Hr? Help plz. . From what I can tell… Find one that doesn't make you sign a long contract. Gyms are a big rip off. First reason, call any gym and ask them how much the monthly dues are. They will not tell you over the phone becuase they want you to come in and get pressured into a long contract. These gyms know that most people quite after a few months so they try to stick you with payments for a year. BIG RIP OFF. Do yourself a favor and buy a treadmil and some free weights and work out in your garage. It will pay off in the long run. You can even buy used equipment for cheap at play it again sports.
